Pivot Maritime International becomes the first ever FURUNO accredited training centre in Australia

As of March 2014 Pivot Maritime International is the first Australian training centre to be accredited by FURUNO as provider of FURUNO's type specific ECDIS familiarisation training to FURUNO's customers in Australia.
With this accreditation, Pivot Maritime International is now a full member of FURUNO's NavSkills network of accredited training centres.
Pivot Maritime International has a long history within both maritime training and simulation for contributing to safe navigation and providing cost effective training solutions.

Pivot Maritime International commenced operations as a training provider and later expanded its profile to include the production of bridge simulators for commercial shipping, recreational boating, and defence.
As a FURUNO accredited training centre, Pivot Maritime International will provide type specific ECDIS training on FURUNO ECDIS systems to Australian mariners. Pivot Maritime International will challenge to facilitate their broad range of training services around Australia, including full compliance with FURUNO's high standards in ECDIS training.
