Chomarat at Techtextil 2015: A Unique Range of Textile Know-How

Chomarat will present all of its activities for the first time at the TechTextil 2015 trade show: coated fabrics and technical films, grids and reinforcements for composites, in a range of sectors that includes construction, luggage, luxury, telephony and design. "We are one of the rare players in the market to propose this type of synergy between know-how and technology, which enables us to meet the demands of the market, and to tailor our solutions to each customer's requirements. Since TechTextil is the world's leading trade show for technical textiles and nonwovens, it is important for us to show our entire offering there," says Philippe Chomarat, head of Chomarat's Coatings & Films business.
Among other things, Chomarat will present three flagship product lines: Oflex™ (coated fabrics), C-PLY™ (carbon reinforcements) and C-Grid® (carbon grids).
Three flagship product lines for high-performance textile solutions
OFLEXTM Design and OFLEXTM Bio-based are two coated fabric lines that offer a wide range of design possibilities in the luggage, luxury-accessory and telephony sectors, without sacrificing any strength and low-weight properties. Intermediate-module (IM) carbon fibre C-PLY™ Ultra Thin also addresses the weight reduction challenge. Chomarat's aluminium-film-reinforced glass grids for roof waterproofing have optimal vapour-barrier performance and sufficient mechanical strength to support the weight of anyone working on the roof. Chomarat's C-GRID® carbon grids, developed for the construction market (concrete reinforcement), will also be exhibited at the Group's stand in collaboration with B&R Building Materials.
