Alimentaria FoodTech Reinforcing International Position

SPAIN - The Barcelona Food Technology exhibition or Alimentaria FoodTech show in Barcelona last week attracted 38,000 professional visitors and featured the participation of more than 570 companies.
The show be the last in which it is known as Barcelona Food Technology.
The show is changing its name after 2015, in line with the positioning strategy of its organiser, Alimentaria Exhibitions.
The new brand for the show will be Alimentaria FoodTech, which has once again confirmed its status as a leader in the technology and machinery for food and drinks industry.
According to its organisers, Alimentaria FoodTech capitalises on and strengthens the Alimentaria brand, currently the key asset Alimentaria Exhibitions, the Fira de Barcelona company which specialises in organising international trade shows linked to the food industry, gastronomy, restaurants and hospitality, and food technology.
In addition, this carefully planned rebranding will enable Alimentaria FoodTech to optimise the Alimentaria brand's potential for international expansion, whether in those countries where it has already successfully established itself, such as Portugal and Mexico, or in other countries where the company has identified expansion opportunities.
This will enable Alimentaria FoodTech to increase synergies with the company's other shows and optimise its positioning on social networks, as well as other platforms for international visibility.
With this new brand, Alimentaria FoodTech 'seeks to reinforce the show's international presence,' states J. Antoni Valls, managing director of Alimentaria Exhibitions.
Alimentaria FoodTech is part of the global portfolio of Alimentaria Exhibitions shows, together with Alimentaria & Horexpo Lisboa, Alimentaria México, Barcelona Degusta and Alimentaria Barcelona. The last is among the most important and well-known international food and drinks. |
