TEX 03PS: New high-frequency chipping hammer from Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco's new high-frequency chipping hammer, the TEX 03PS, is the lightest tool in a wide range of pneumatic hammers and breakers.
Featuring the normal TEX qualities of reliability and good performance, it also offers the operator a good-sized handle and a lower noise level than the previous model. Applications include light chipping and scaling as well as removal of materials such as plaster, tiles, brick and soft concrete.
A small hammer with a generous handle
Weighing just 4 kg and only 300 mm long, this is the smallest unit in the range of chipping hammers from Atlas Copco. Yet the tool offers a good-sized handle with ample room for the operator's gloved hand.
SOFSTART™ trigger for good operator control
TEX 03PS has a D-shaped handle with an inside trigger. The trigger is of the two-step type which gives the operator better control over the start of each cut.
Slim silencer helps reduce noise
To reduce the noise the TEX 03PS is equipped with a lightweight silencer. Its slim profile ensures good accessibility even in confined spaces.
Parts commonality makes maintenance easier
The TEX 03PS shares up to 40 percent of its parts with the next size hammer in the Atlas Copco range: the TEX 05P. With many common parts, maintenance is easier since parts are more readily available and stocking is minimized.
TEX 03PS Kit - the chipping solution
There is also a light chipping solution available from the shelf. The TEX 03PS Kit includes a hammer in a handy metal transport box, together with two different chisels, a 3 m hand hose complete with couplings, and some lubrication oil for the hammer.
