Holliday Pigments at Chinaplas 2013

Holliday Pigments is exhibiting at Chinaplas 2013, to be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Pazhou, Guangzhou in May. The Rockwood Pigments owned specialist Ultramarine business will be exhibiting alongside sister company, Sachtleben.
Holliday Pigments will be highlighting its Premier FRX pigment and its new Ultramarine violet and pink ranges: Premier VSB, VSR and PX.
Premier FRX
Premier FRX is recommended for plastic applications in which properties such as dispersion, transparency, impact resistance and tensile strength are of paramount importance. Typical examples include fibre masterbatches, PET bottles and automotive components.
Premier FRX displays excellent dispersion and freedom from oversize agglomerates. The pigment is subject to stringent quality checks, including extrusion through a very fine filter pack in order to measure build-up in pressure (Delta P) caused by oversize particles blocking the screen.
The final particle size of Premier FRX and the absence of particles above 10µm in size ensure the mechanical strength of the host polymer is maximised in injection moulding and extrusion applications.
Holliday Pigments' Ultramarine violet and pink ranges
Within the Ultramarine Violet color space, Premier VSB is a Violet, Strong Blue shade pigment and Premier VSR is a Violet, Strong, Red shade. Both grades exhibit a 20% higher tinting strength compared to existing industry standard pigments.
Similarly, Premier PX is a new Ultramarine Pink that extends the tinting strength of Holliday Pigments' truly unique red shade inorganic offering by a further 10%.
