Husky introduces UNIFY™ manifold systems at Chinaplas 2014

Release 2014-04-23 - BOLTON, Ontario - Husky Injection Molding Systems today announced the introduction of its UNIFY™ manifold systems. Building on Husky's history of hot runner innovation, this new technology provides a simple, one-step installation of the hot runner manifold into a mold without needing to pre-heat the system, providing customers a flexible system that can save up to 70% installation time. The UNIFY™ manifold system also allows for simple hot runner maintenance, reducing down time, and features Husky's ULTRASEAL® technology for continuous leak-proof operation.

Simple One-step Installation
Designed to satisfy the requirements of customers who need to minimize mold assembly and reduce manifold installation time, the UNIFY™ manifold system provides customers simple and efficient mold installation. The water, hydraulic and electrical services are attached to a rigid frame that matches the manifold layout perfectly, allowing easy installation directly into the mold. Our patented ULTRASEAL® technology ensures nozzle alignment to the gate without the need to heat the system during assembly, so there is never a risk of damage to the tips during installation.
Easiest Hot Runner Maintenance in the Industry
While the UNIFY™ manifold system allows for incredibly simple installation, the same mechanisms provide an easy way to remove the hot runner from the mold and perform required maintenance in record time.
ULTRASEAL® Technology
UNIFY™ manifold systems feature Husky's proven ULTRASEAL® technology, preventing leakage at start-up, even if the hot runner is not within its operating window. ULTRASEAL® nozzle tip technology also comes standard with a 3-year leak-proof guarantee.
The UNIFY™ manifold system is now available for Ultra 1000 hydraulic valve gate nozzles. It will soon be available with pneumatic valve gate and the hot tip TS configurations, for Ultra 1000 and for the complete Ultra 750 series of nozzles.
