OCTAL PET GP01 is one of the superior food grade PET copolymer resins and is most suitable for a variety of applications such as carbonated water, CSD, alcoholic beverages, hot fill, oil containers and pharmaceutical materials packaging. This resin is specially developed and engineered to extend high dimensional strength and mechanical properties. Reduced crystallinity and a low heat of fusion are advantages of OCTAL PET GP01 for saving energy and reducing the regeneration of acetaldehyde during downstream processing. Its application is also suitable for heat set blow molding that is used for warm fill materials.
OCTAL PET GP01 copolymer resin is considered safe for food packaging applications based on all compliance to USA FDA regulation CFR 21 section 177.1630, EU regulation 10/2011 ,EC Directive 94/62/EC and the CONEG regulations (USA/CANADA) for all heavy metals contents. |
