Strategically positioned within the silicone supply chain, we offer silanes, siloxanes and silazanes imparted with various functionalities including vinyl, hydride, amino groups as well as fluorinated silicones, alkytrialkoxysilanes and custom manufacturing for customers in need of precision performance. Silicone in its most basic form is a fully synthetic polymer with a repeating Si-O (chemical) backbone, a basic starting point from which our silicone experts can synthesize a range of products delivering certain characteristics required in specific customer applications.
In the semiconductor electronics industry our products are used as photo resistent adhesion promoters and CVD/ALD precursors for litho spacers, low temperature oxides and ultra low K dielectrics. Our products are enabling the ever smaller and powerful chips inside the smart phones, computers and tablets we all use on a daily basis.
In elastomers, thermosets and thermoplastics our cross-linkers, chain extenders and silicone resins are used to modify or improve hardness, tear strength, cure speed, elongation, impact strength, hydrophobicity, slip and mar properties, chemical resistance, refractive index, oxygen permeability and optical clarity. These products are used in automotive, dental, electronics, medical and contact lens applications. |
