      Our Automatic Horizontal Surface Winders are designed for high speed, in-line slitting and winding of a wide range of Nonwoven materials. The Single Drum Automatic Winder Series delivers optimal performance and flexibility for tension sensitive and varying loft nonwovens. The horizontal winding allows complete control over the final roll density and web thickness. No matter how simple or demanding your application requirements are Parkinson Technologies can design a horizontal surface winder to suit your web handling system needs.

      The Horizontal Surface Winder incorporates all the web handling features available with our standard surface winders with the optional benefits of:
      Pure surface winding
      Pure center winding with separate drive after roll transfer in surface mode
      Surface wind with center wind assist
      Finished roll diameters to 120??(3m)
      Both plunge cut and powered horizontal cross cut for very heavy materials (accumulator required)
      Hopper fed cores and shaftless winding for small diameter, consumer rolls
