Maxicam launches full sheet processing line with automatic loading & unloading functionality

Maxicam UK is proud to announce its new offering by introducing at W14 the Maxicam automatic sheet processing line.
The production line builds on the foundations of the popular high performance Maxicam M4 CNC router, with its high powered 9.5kw HSK ATC spindle and vertical drill bank, with the addition of an auto-loading table for full sheets of material. The M4, powered by the market leading Osai control system, is equipped with auto-load/unload technology and unloads nested sheets on to the conveyor for bar-coding and stacking whilst in the same cycle cleans the table and loads a new sheet ready for processing.
Edgebanding on the sheet production line is achieved via the EV580C. The edgebander offers exceptional value for money and as Maxicam's flagship edgebander the specification includes all the options you would expect such as gluing, end trimming, rough trimming, fine trimming, scraping and buffing. The EV560C also has corner rounding functionality and can process bands in a guage of 0.4-3mm and with a panel thickness of 12-65mm.
Final processing is achieved with the Maxicam M6 PTP CNC machining centre. This cantilevered style machining centre is open along the X axis for easy loading and uses pods and rails for part clamping. Barcode scanning automatically loads NC files from pre-processed panels on the M4 for rapid panel processing and ease of use. The M6 PTP powered by the OSAI controller has rapid speeds of 80m/min and comes equipped with a powerful HSK 9.5kw ATC spindle, vertical and horizontal drill bank, cross cut saws and full CE certified safety guarding and photoelectric barriers to protect the operator. |
